Our stable courtyard is at your service for your reception drinks. Overlooking the pond and stunning painted bridge it offers the perfect setting for guests to mingle and assemble for group photographs.

Your wedding guests are free to wander and explore the 6 acres of stunning grounds at High House, admiring the pretty English country gardens, orchard and enjoy lawn games.

Wedding Breakfast & Evening Celebrations

When the time comes for guests to be seated for food, our elegant marquee offers the perfect setting. With views to the lake (spectacular at sunset!) which can be viewed from our decking, the highly impressive space will wow your guests. The wedding marquee can be prepared to accommodate anything from an all-day informal barbecue to an elegant wedding breakfast. The decision is yours.

As dusk falls, the marquee comes to life for your evening celebrations! Benefitting from a dance floor reveal (your party is hidden away until the evening), twinkling star-cloth lining, stage, and black and white dance floor, you can be sure of an amazing party atmosphere.

In House DJ

We have an amazing Resident DJ team here at High House to cater for every musical taste imaginable. Everything the DJ plays is mixed live using industry standard equipment - no premixed sets or laptop mixing here! Your guests can request songs on the night too and the DJ will happily make any announcements required.

Our DJ booth is an LED starcloth to match the beautiful starry ceiling of the marquee and the lights are controlled by the DJ throughout the night to change colour, position and strobe along to the music. For the last song of the night, the DJ will gather everyone on the dance floor (if they're not there already!) and give the couple a lovely send off.

The reception makes up half of your wedding day, so we strive to make it as amazing as possible. We want you and your guests to remember your wedding as the best they've ever been to!

Our wedding reception marquee is suitable for up to 120 guests for a sit down wedding breakfast. You can have up to 150 for the evening party.
Yes! The dance floor is hidden away until the first dance begins. We will lift the curtain to reveal you and your partner on the dance floor. This is always a hit with guests and it really gets the party going!
