Indoor Wedding Ceremonies

Our beautifully restored Grade II listed Essex Barn is the jewel in High House’s crown! It’s the perfect space for an indoor wedding ceremony, especially for those wanting a rustic, yet elegant vibe.

Dating back to 1750, the barn retains its wonderful character with rustic oak beams and exposed red brick. Full height windows flood the space with light, providing you with a very special setting to have your civil ceremony or celebrant-led wedding ceremonies.

Yes, High House is a licensed wedding venue. You can have you civil ceremony in either the Grade II Essex Barn or surrounded by nature beneath the Thatched Gazebo.
