Our stable courtyard is at your service for your reception drinks. Overlooking the pond and stunning painted bridge it offers the perfect setting for guests to mingle and assemble for group photographs.
Your wedding guests are free to wander and explore the 6 acres of stunning grounds at High House, admiring the pretty English country gardens, orchard and enjoy lawn games.
For 2025, we are excited to be extending our Stable Bar to make an indoor and outdoor experience for guests, ensuring an elegant space for weddings in all seasons.
Wedding Breakfast & Evening Celebrations
When the time comes for guests to be seated for food, our elegant Orangery offers the perfect setting. With views to the lake (spectacular at sunset!) which can be viewed from our decking, the highly impressive space is set to be stunning and will really wow your guests.
Ready in time for 2025 weddings, the Orangery will not only be more environmentally friendly, it will provide a light and airy setting that is beautiful for weddings year round!

In House DJ
We have an amazing Resident DJ team here at High House to cater for every musical taste imaginable. Everything the DJ plays is mixed live using industry standard equipment - no premixed sets or laptop mixing here! Your guests can request songs on the night too and the DJ will happily make any announcements required.
The reception makes up half of your wedding day, so we strive to make it as amazing as possible. We want you and your guests to remember your wedding as the best they've ever been to!

Our new wedding orangery will be suitable for up to 140 guests for a sit down wedding breakfast. You can have up to 200 for the evening party.
